TCNJ Alert: Power update: class cancelation, housing, dining, registration

The college has been able to diagnose the cause of the power outage affecting several campus buildings. Repairs are expected to extend through the night and will necessitate us to shut off power to additional buildings. Because of this, the college is cancelling Monday classes after 3:30 p.m. and all classes on Tuesday. Classes will resume Wednesday morning at 8:00 a.m. Administrative offices will remain open.

Buildings affected by the original power outage include: all Townhouses, Phelps, Hausdoerrfer, Eickhoff, Rec Center, and ASB. Additional buildings that will have power turned off for repairs are: Travers, Wolfe, Decker, Cromwell, New Res, and Packer. Students in affected buildings are being encouraged to either go home or find a friend to stay with. Those who need help identifying housing options for the evening should report to the Brower Student Center 104 (by the information desk) between 4:30pm and 5:30pm for assistance. Residential Education will be communicating with affected students directly and is asking affected students to complete this short survey to let them know your plans:

Campus dining options for this evening are: Brower Food Court until 8pm, Traditions until 10pm, and the Library Café until 1am.

Students with spring registration appointments on November 12 and thereafter will be rescheduled. Records and Registration will communicate directly with affected students.
